2017 Fiat 124 Spider Test Drive
Heirloom or hand me down? The 2017 Fiat 124 Spider is a little of both.
The iconic nameplate that said arrivederci in 1982 has finally returned to American roads. But this time itís made the trip across the Pacific Ocean.
In order to build a sound business case for a low-priced, low-volume sports car, Fiat hooked up with Mazda to produce the 124 Spider on the bones of the Miata in Japan, but only after sister company Alfa Romeo broke up with it.

Fiat 124 Abarth Rally Car Testing
This video of the rally-prepped version of Fiat's latest roadster makes us wonder why Fiat doesn't just sell every 124 this way.
The production-spec Fiat 124 Spider is a very good car. Sure, it isn't as great as the Mazda Miata it's based on, but in isolation, it can make any enthusiast smile. Back in March, Fiat introduced a factory rally program for the 124 Spider, and called it the Abarth R-GT. Now, seven months later, we get to see it actually rip u...

The 2017 Fiat 500 Gets a Simplified Lineup
Sales of Fiatís cute little minicar have been on a downward spiral for the last couple of years in Canada, and the brand is hoping to shake things up by streamlining the range of trim levels and powertrains.
The 2017 Fiat 500 will be available in hatchback and cabrio body styles, and both will offer three trim levels, including base Pop, uplevel Lounge and performance-oriented Abarth. The Sport, Turbo and 1957 Edition models have been discontin...

Fiat has announced a new special edition 500 in collaboration with yacht-maker Riva
Fiat has teamed up with luxury yacht manufacturer Riva to create a special edition of the retro 500. The new model supposedly combines the exquisite style of Riva yachts, with the dinky dimensions of the diminutive city car.
The Fiat 500 Riva includes many accents that have been inspired by Riva yachts, including a unique paint used known as Sera blue, a double aquamarine line running around the middle of the car, and brand...

Fiat 500 at 50: How the little giant of cars has stood the test of time
Resurrection is not an easy act, especially in the car world.
But we come to the Fiat 500 Abarth, which presents us with a special case Ė an old car made not just new, but better. This came as a pleasant surprise. When Fiat announced back in the mid-2000s that it was bringing back the 500, a beloved car best known as the Cinquecento, I felt nothing but dread. The original 500, which dates back to 1957, is an icon. Creating a new one offered countless a...

Heaven on wheels in Fiat 500!
I had driven the diminutive Fiat 500 in its two most enjoyable forms: the convertible version and the high-performance Abarth rendition. This time around, I spent a week prying into a marriage of the two, which proved to be as close as a Fiat 500 can get to an automotive hedonist's heaven.
The 500C Abarth Cabrio tester turned out to be a real hoot to drive, even if it wasn't equipped with the five-speed manual gearbox I found in the Abarth coupe I had d...

Fiat introduces facelifted 500 Abarth in Europe
Visually, the 500 Abarth -- which is known as the Abarth 595 in select foreign markets -- follows the path blazed by the standard 500 by adopting new-look lights on both ends and oval LED daytime running lights up front. The hatchback also receives a redesigned front bumper with bigger air vents, and a new air diffuser out back.
Fiat explains it has spruced up the cabin with Alcantara and carbon fiber accents, but we'll have to take the company's word f...
